  • What the AMS PG Does and Why - Fundraise to support the students and staff at middle school; provide funding for projects, materials, events to support students and staff at middle school; host concession stands and pridewear, etc.

  • Principal’s Notes – Mr. Schaefer wants to announce that:
    • Fall NWEA Began
    • #1 in county for 5 out of 6 areas of focus and 2nd in one area – all grades!
  • Fundraiser Ideas
    • Horse Race Event idea for future? 
    • Scavenger Hunt – idea for future?
    • Kickball (Spring) – looking at mid May; class against class; register and sign up (pay), shirts to be provided. Medals to be awarded. Teachers have a team too?
    • Banquet Facility/Golf Course Dining Area – Nicole to look into to solidify a date (Tina’s, Manaci’s, Cedar Glenn, Holly Meadows, Sycamore Hills, etc.)
    • Murder Mystery Dinner (Winter) – committee to be formed; looking at February 4/5 weekend; tickets to sell – prices to be determined based on facility; capacity about 150?
  • Sponsor Event
    • Dance (Halloween) – no dances per administration YET
    • End of the Year (8th Grade Only) – committee to be formed
 
  • Concessions
    • Home Sporting Events – sign up genius created per sport; to be passed onto coaches
    • Friday Cafeteria Days – maybe during 2nd trimester?
 
  • Sign Up Genius
    • Football – posted; please share! **more pizza, more popcorn**
    • Volleyball - posted; please share! **NO taco in a bag, less pizza**
  • Pridewear
    • Forms and/or Online – 16 orders from Tiger Days, all but 6 delivered, some not in full due to back order sizes.  Research various companies to use for future.

        • Pom Pom and Football Pants have been specified – curtain in gymnasium/stage area and basketball backboards
